Role Description

• Primary role is on-site on operator premises.
• Hands-on BSS operations, Fault management, Configuration management.
• Upgrade handling and KPI monitoring (May require occasional night work)
• Secondary Role based in Equiendo Office.
• Liaising with 2G/3G engineers in design and development work

Qualifications

• Primary Degree in Engineering or Science discipline.

Experience

Required experience:

• Minimum 3 years BSS Operational Role with Operator.
• In-depth knowledge of Ericsson BSC command handling.
• BSS signalling and node experience.
• Configuration and Fault management experience.
• Upgrade and KPI knowledge.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Written and spoken English.

Desirable Experience:

• Other Vendor knowledge (Huawei, NSN)
• 3G experience
• Product development lifecycle understanding
• High Level design work

• Responsible for maintaining and upgrading Operator BSS nodes
• Meet required operator KPI’s
• Reporting directly to Customer Operations Manager
• Representing Equiendo on-site at Customer meetings
